GOLDEN OLDIES RUGBY

The Golden Oldies at Alleygators play for the sheer enjoyment of the sport now that they are retired from serious competitive play. Golden Oldies Rugby brings together player over 35 years of age to 70 + years for fun, friendship and fraternity.
Every Wednesday night at 6.30pm, we play touch football to have a great time. Shower off and head to the bar for the coast’s cheapest beer and a great snack from our Bistro.
During the rugby season for those who can play a little bit of rough and tumble, strictly to Golden Oldies rules, we arrange a fun night of rugby against other local Golden Oldie groups. It’s a great get together, networking and getting to know other oldies around the Gold Coast. Sportsmanship and camaraderie thrive.
As a group with our partners, we have travelled and participated in World Golden Oldie fun games, travelling to New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, San Diego, Hawaii and Argentina. If you are interested in being a part of this growing friendly sport, you can contact:
